Edo Leadership Assembly is an organization of distinguished Benin patriots- who have a strong passion for community involvement and social activism. Members are committed to using their skills and resources to contribute to the development of our people.

Prospective members are carefully evaluated before being invited to join the organization.

To be considered for membership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Strong commitment to service and leadership
• Ability and willingness to commit financial and other resources
• Reputable
• Capable of advancing ELA's mission and vision
• Possess a distinguished professional and community profile
• Dedicated to working with ELA to achieve shared goals.
• Proactive thinker and doer with a demonstrable problem solving skill
• Professional in outlook and disposition

Membership Application

Membership in ELA is a selective process. The standards are reasonably high and membership is limited to people with proven leadership qualities, good moral character and reputation.

• Not all applicants will be accepted for membership. Applicants are expected to meet all of the criteria for membership before requesting an application form.
• Applications are on a rolling basis. However, ELA accepts a limited number of new members every year. Once this quota has been met, the application process is closed, till the following year.
• Membership application forms are usually available during the Edo Leadership Summit. Applicants are expected to attend the prospective member orientation session at the Summit, before submitting their application.
• Attending the Summit and the prospective member orientation will enable applicants to become familiar with the Constitution, Bylaws, Strategic plan and organizational structure of the Edo Leadership Assembly.
